Evaluating the accumulated error in seismic reliability and risk analysis of aging highway bridge networks

The development of surrogate models at bridge and network level has significantly enhanced the computational efficiency of reliability and risk assessment of highway bridge networks. This research aims at identifying and quantifying the uncertainties associated with risk analysis at various steps involved in order to provide realistic bounds on the provided reliability and risk estimates.
